The Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala, is proud to welcome the state’s first seaplane, whose arrival is a step towards the realization of one of the dream projects of Emerging Kerala Global Connect 2012. The six-seater Cessna 206 H Amphibian Aircraft arriving from Delhi will be greeted with a ceremonial Water Salute at the Aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) wing of the Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) in Nedumbassery. Shri. A P Anil Kumar, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism; Shri. K M Chandrashekar IAS, Vice-Chairman, Kerala Planning Board and Shri. Suman Billa, Secretary, Kerala Tourism will be among the dignitaries.
