As part of 150th birth anniversay of Swami Vivekananda a memorial museum is about to be launched in Sai Gramam, Thonnakkal, Trivandrum. Honourable Chief Minister of Kerala Shri Oommen Chandy will be laying stone for the construction of the building. On the occassion Minister KC Joseph will be presiding over the function and Padmasree winner P Parameshwarji will be giving his speech. A two-storied 5000 sq.ft building is proposed to be construction in an area of 1 acre.
The executive director of Sai Gramam has informed that the museum will be constructed in such a way that it will help people to understand the life of Swami Vivekananda with the help of most modern technologies. A meditation centre and library of books concerning the life swamiji and his prophosies. A 12 ft idol will be erected in the place and the total cost for the construction is estimated to be about 1.65 crores.
