Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 15 – Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) has invited proposals from educational institutions and research organisations for its state-level National Science Day 2014 celebrations.
The focal theme of this year’s National Science Day is ‘Fostering Scientific Temper’. The proposals should outline programmes that will help spread awareness among the students, academia and the public about the importance of National Science Day and its focal theme.
High schools, higher secondary schools, vocational higher secondary schools, colleges (including professional colleges), industrial training institutions, polytechnic colleges, universities, research organizations and registered NGOs are invited to send in proposals.
The application format and guidelines including details of the financial support offered from KSCSTE may be downloaded from the websitewww.kscste.kerala.gov.in or may be collected from KSCSTE Office. The proposals in the prescribed format should be submitted to the Director, KSCSTE, Sasthra Bhavan, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram – 4 on or before 6 December 2013.
