It is also the time for school excursions. The period of school excursions usually start from the 15th of January and ends during the end of february. During this type schools from all over kerala used to conduct study tours and excursion for their students as the current education year is going to end by March. Usually excusions are being made to tourist destinations in kerala like in  beaches, dam visits, zoo & museum visits and in hill tops. All these type of destinations have got dangers added with it if precaution is not being taken teachers or concerned authories who are accompanying the childre. For children excusion days are the days of complete freedom as their parents are not with them. They used to enjoy it in maximum, some time going adventurous and inviting dangers to their life. If the teachers who are accompaning the students are taking necessary precaution any type of danger can hit and the whole excusion will be a big nightmare. Students who are visiting the beaches and zoos are getting more adventurous. The number of guards in beaches and zoos are very limited and those guards who are there in the destinations cant look after each and every student so the chances of any any unfavourable things happening to the group or an student is huge.

The canteen is being built for the public as well as for the airport officials. The canteen is about 2700 sq.ft which is being built beneath the flyover located near the international airport. The canteen will be functioning from march second week onwards and the total cost is estimated at about 50 cr. 100 people can have food from the canteen at a time and price for the public and airport authority will be different.

The recent public uprising of people against the disposal of garbage in vilappilsala panchayath the trivandrum corporation has stopped sending garbage to treatment plant. This has resulted in dumping of garbage beside main and sub roads in trivandrum. Since December 20th 2011 the government and locals of trivandrum is fearing about an epidemic outbreak in trivandrum city. with the stoppage of waste disposal in vilappilsala people, especially who are living beside the aamaezhanjan thodu started dumping waste in it. The cleaning of aamaezhanjan thodu has been assured by all the authorities and politicians every now and then and nothing has happened till now and the recent dumping of more waste to aamaezhanjan thodu will create more problems for the authorities as well as people living in trivandrum.

The aamaezhanjan thodu is running though the heart of the city, a new case of dengue fever has been confirmed for an inmate in sree chithra poor home which is located near to aamaezhanjan thodu. More than 300 inmates are currently staying in sree chithra poor home. With the closing down of vilappilsala garbage plant a drastic health situation has arisen in trivandrum city. Looking at the numbers of dengue fever affected people from January 1st onwards, it is about 221 cases has been confirmed. All these cases are reported within the trivandrum city. The life of people who are living near to aamaezhanjan thodu, which is extends up-to 10 kms in the city has gone very much worse due to the large number of mosquito being generated from the place. Ward Councilor, Rajendran has told that the differences between the irrigation department and public works department of kerala has created this worst situation.

The corporation of trivandrum is fearing about the state of violent attitude which can arise among the people in vilappilsala and decided that it temporarily stopping the dumping of waste in vilappilsala. Corporation has asked the help of police in bringing clay to vilappilsala for treating the existing garbage in the plant.

Currently the garbage is dumped both inside the factory and in a location outside it. The garbage which is there in the plant is those which are dumpled before 20th of december 2011, since that the people of vilappilsala has not allowed the garbage trucks from city to enter the plant. The corporation will treat all the garbage which is currently in the plant will decide on bringing in more garbage from the city. Clay is need to treat the dumped garbage in the plant. Police has informed that they will give security for those trucks which carry clay to the garbage factory. It is expected that the lorries which carries clay will be reaching the garbage plant on coming monday. A recent verdict by the High Court of Kerala has directed the corporation to dump garbage in the factory and as a result of the verdict corporation has told that it will starting sending garbage to vilappilsala from 13th onwards. The decision regarding the dumping of garbage in vilappilsala will be taken in a week.

Resolution for this value assessment is made on the joint meeting of the Technical Committee and other committees. Keltron will be updating the information about the treasure assessment in a special server with the technical help from ISRO. The value assessment will be taking place in a special location outside the treasure cellars in side the temple.

The value assessment is being planned to be done in such a way that it will not affect the daily poojas and rituals in the temple. Gadgets and Equipments like those which can be used to calculate the quality weights and the date in which it was made, cameras to take 3D photos and a server will be used for the valuation. All the equipments are imported ones and it can only be used to register the details of only 20 items in a day and each entry usually takes 20 minutes for updation. Due to this slow information processing the final day of completion of valuation calculated at present. The committee members has informed that the valuation of precious items is not going to happen on 20th, only the calculation of number of items will take place.

All the experts in various fields will be present during the valuation process. All the experts will undergo security check before starting the valuation and special dress will be given to them. Once the valuation reaches a particular point a report will be submitted to supreme court explaining the process and only after the B Cellar will be opened. The valuation is taking place as per directions of the supreme court.

It is expected that once these lights are installed in various parts of the city the whole place will be secure and it will also help shop owners, vehicle drivers and pedestrians in the city. The first phase of this project will be implemented in 5 kms starting from Sasthamangalam to Eastfort (Kizhakkekotta).

Pillars for this Rapid Transit System will be erected in the dividers. This personal rapid system will provide connection to the upcoming mono rail project in trivandrum. The minimum charge for PRT is currently calculated as 10 Rs and fairstage will be decided later. Initially the PRT will be having stops in Vellayambalam, Statue, Palayam. Overbridge, Eastfort and Thampanoor.

In the second phase places like Eanchakkal, General Hospital, Sasthamangalam, Jagathy, Museum Juncation will be having bus stations and another 14 more stops will be added. Currently the project is being designed in such a way as it will cover in and out of the city. This type of Public Transit System is a working model in Heathrow Airpot in London and this type of project has been initiated in Amritsar also. It is expected that building costs will be about 60 crores for one km.

The combined efforts and invetment of Inkel and Ultrafare wood private limited will make this project a reality and the government of kerala is not funding for this project. These type of cars are called pods is fully controlled by computers and will not collide with each other. It can move at a speed of more than 40 kms in an hour.
